[ So those of you paying attention to the news this morning might have noticed a story: "Private Security Director Condemns Anti-Spirit Actions" - news about a press conference held by OOPARTS Joint Security Firm - with Onni as cleaned up as he gets. Soundbites from the conference were probably played over the course of the day-

"My team and I are dedicated not just to protecting people from supernatural threats, but protecting the supernatural from human threats. Mr. Tsuyoshi's actions were not just inexcusable within the confines of the Action Duel World Championships, but also to me, personally, as someone working to constantly bridge the gap between Spirits and Humans. While diplomacy is the purview of my colleague and friend Mr. Yuuki and the Spirit-Arcadia Institute, it's up to us to make sure that in situations like this, we keep violent outbursts like Mr. Tsuyoshi's as isolated an incident as possible."

Beyond that, it's accompanied by the usual media gossip. Mostly this being Onni's first 'official' public appearance as Director of OOPARTs, and since the "freak accident" on the set of a movie shoot which left him hospitalized for several weeks - which was quickly followed by a vacation shortly after the appearance of the 'Mystery Island'. Not counting the fact that he revealed himself during the Action Duel World Championship as the mysterious "Kamnen Shinshi" - and placed Top 4 before being eliminated by Juudai. ]

Well, that press conference could have gone worse, I suppose. One day I'll get used to media appearances.

Alright, I think that things have calmed down from the moment, but we have a fair amount to investigate, I think - namely, I want to know who put these ideas into Mr. Tsuyoshi's head.

There's also a few other avenues I think we can explore privately on some other leads, maybe make some headway in all directions. I can think of... a few things, anyway.

If anyone has anything they want to bring up, feel free to speak up.

[ The third floor of the OOPARTs Building is reserved mostly for administrative efforts - some of the Twelve Peers are up here, having moved to record-keeping duty after the move to OOPARTS.

However, the biggest room is, without doubt, the Director's - that is to say, Onni's - office. A huge screen on the back wall, behind his desk - which, while shiny and new, is already in its usual disarray, as he's working on something or other - small machines, right now. Hobbyist enthusiasts. There are a number of scattered blueprints, incident reports, and to-do-lists that strewn about the desk.

Onni's office, for all it's stature, has an 'open door' policy. If you wished to talk to him - either because he called you here himself or because you need to talk with him, he's here. ]

There's thudding footsteps of someone sprinting up the stairs, then Cyril slides into view of the doorway. He lets out a half-mad cackle as he saunters in. ... That's a person he's been lugging no telling HOW long over his shoulder.

He sets the person down gently in a chair, shit eating grin on his face. If there's another chair, he sits in it and kicks his feet up onto whatever's handy, but not the top of the desk. If there is not, he leans against the wall.

"Oy, Haita! Thought 'bout crashin' through yer window on my bike, but I'm pretty sure I'd 'afta pay fer 'property damage' an' yer 'ole lil' police academy'd be on alert an' I dun feel like makin' nerd piles today. Thought I'd speed this shit up, 'ere's yer Spookymasu."

Things to keep note:

■ Kaz lost two of the Numbers he had on hand. I'm wondering if we should terminate him over it as he lost them months ago and only just realized.

■ I keep seeing claims that "Something is coming"

■ There's a group of new Samasus that showed up, the commonality is they all seem to be using aliases of the Monarch Vassal.

■ There's been a rise here and there in the city of Spirits / Spirit Sympathizers being attacked but it's still super low key.
