I think I can finally start posting to here again. We're still quite a bit ways from the happy ending, but. Well. It seems like a lot of the political types are accepting that even if they want to maneuver around us, they don't know even a tenth of what Juudai and I know about this supernatural stuff, which means we're given quite a fair bit of leverage. For now, anyway.

Now if only that didn't mean mountains of paperwork. Between this and finalization on the building OOPARTS will be in, I've hardly had a moment to myself. Luckily, it's... starting to cool down.

What happened?

...I got goaded into a duel. It was stupid, really. Both boasting and arguing about strength. She didn't think we-I, had the strength to protect the Barians or Domino. I was trying to get her to accept a deal that'd clear her of charges and let her go home.

Near the end, I summoned Rhongomyniad, and... I went for the final blow. The two of us were trying to make it standard finish, with no one getting hurt, but-

I don't know. Something happened. Some dark energy pulsed off Alexandra, and she threw herself onto Rhongomyniad's spear, impaling herself. It must have been some sort of... Dark Game-esque effect. I- I didn't even realize what had happened for a split second, that Rhongomyniad had become real.

I... I fucked up, Desde. I fucked up bad.

It sounds like she started a Dark Game somehow right at the end.

...Sort of, yeah. But I didn't think that kind of thing was possible.

By the way, what happened to letting go?

I warned him something like this could happen. I told him about the imprint and he rush forward into it anyway like he was doing in high school all the time and now we have some kind of insane Dark Signer-Barian-Astral hybrid on our hands. And he apparently just expects us to clean it up for him while he jets off on a cruise or whatever--
