Sorry for the radio silence, everyone. I've been pretty busy 'tween the kid and running OOPARTS as an actual business, these days. Top-level restructuring, business meetings, budget plans, etc etc.

Swear it feels like I've been stuck in boardrooms for months, at this point.

Also, got my hair cut back the way I like it. It's still that ridiculous shade of red, but I can kinda work with that. Kinda like it, actually.

Not gonna comment on the stuff that's been going on because it'd be a lil' bit redundant.

Ah... Something happened with Souha.

They've told me to not really talk about it publicly, however, but it's left me rather annoyed. They're going on vacation to recover from it with Noriko and Sumiho, apparently.

Ah, yeah, I read about that when I finally was able to get back to the network, I hope everything's alright.

If I'd be allowed to work on my own project during those hours, yes. It is technically relevant to OOPARTS' purpose, so...

A lot of the budget was wrapped in my own personal project that I've had to table due to the budget cuts and take on as my own project. But if I remember right your project is going to be, uh. Sorely needed.

So, yeah, I think I can clear it with Wakahisa The Younger and get you all set up with a cozy spot in the lab.

I think it'll work out. I have my own individual budget for what I've been working on, so it can just be combined into that.

I may be taking a trip soon to look at materials, as well.

Mind if I come with? My schedule isn't guaranteed to pan out, but.

I could use the exercise, so to speak.

You'll have to ask Moeko about that, specifically. She's the one who suggested the trip.

Might pass in that case. I need to get a project ready for her within the week.

Fair enough. I have no idea how long the trip would take anyway. Spatially.

Let me know if you find anything interesting. R&D budget might have been cut a bit, but I'm always willing to look at any materials you think might be interesting on my own time.

I'll keep note. I'm mostly going to be looking for materials that're... flexible and sturdy.

And also able to be purchased in bulk.
