Hello, new students to Duel Academy! I hope you're finding your start of the school year well. Let me introduce myself.
I am Haita Onni, Director of the Organization for Observing Paranormal Activity via Reverse-Engineering, Takedown, and Study. OOPARTS, for short. I was a member of Duel Academy just like you all are, except that there was way less literature on the supernatural when I was in school.
Which is why I'm making this introduction, in fact. Please, for both your sake and your supervisors, I would like to remind you that if you come across an event you suspect is supernatural - do not engage with it under any circumstances. A lot of things can happen to someone caught up in something like that if they aren't prepared for it. If you believe it is urgent, please contact your supervisors immediately - they know to keep in touch with us here at OOPARTS if it's particularly serious.
Even with that warning, I know there will be some... enterprising students who wish to take matters into their own hands. I can't say I blame you - I was similar, but at the very least, I would encourage students who wish to know more about supernatural phenomena and the best practices for dealing with them in an emergency should visit the OOPARTS building in Domino proper - our facility has a lot of literature you can take advantage of, and if you want to talk to me directly, my office hours are usually open these days.
I wish you all good luck and safe nights in your academic journey.

[He's hanging outside the OOPARTS building, it's probably close to the end of the work day, his jacket is hanging off his shoulders as he swigs down a bottle of water, looking out at his... 'domain', for want of a better word. For once, a quiet day. Wonder what's gonna ruin it.]

Re: [Event Post]
I didn't want ta call ya since ya seemed like a nerd who was also a cop."
Re: [Event Post]
Would you like to talk it out here, or in my office? If you're looking for some advice or information, I can try and provide something. Although obviously, officially, I have to mention that you should leave such things to professionals.
[That last part is said with resignation, like he already knows you've tuned him out and are going to ignore anything like being sensible.]
Re: [Event Post]
I know. But ya folks started out like me, right? And it's no biggie, just got contacted by a staff member I ain't ever seen or met out of the blue, told that some kids disappeared forever in the abandoned dorm on campus, that the weird staff member 'Bright' was one of them, and I suspect that I'm gonna be murdered or worse, so I'm keeping my spirits high by keeping birds from evolving back inta dinosaurs."
Re: [Event Post]
The Abandoned Dorm, that's a name I haven't heard in a while... cripes, nothing good ever came out of that place...
Who was this staff member you met with? And try and remember what you saw or experienced in the Abandoned Dorm in detail. It'll be easier for me to make a judgement call. You won't be in any danger if I can help it.
Re: [Event Post]
Her name's Hara Reika, wants to be called 'Bright.' I got a back-up plan, in case no one hears from me for a day or three. ... can't believe I'm talkin' ta a cop 'bout this.."
Re: [Event Post]
...Though, I agree, it was likely a monster of some sort, though, long claws... mmm, that won't pin it down, but might at least narrow the search...
Hara Reika, 'Bright'... mmm, the name's unfortunately not ringing a bell aside from what you've told me. That definitely does sound suspicious, however. Mmmm. Was there anything immediately unsettling or suspicious about them that you could identify as supernatural?
Also, I would like to hear this backup plan.
Re: [Event Post]
He shrugs.
"My backup plan: Trendafilka Adelina Cardozo."
