The rest of that... I'm not sure if those are police matters, but SpecInv has always been a special case. Perhaps I can get them to look into it regardless. I have quite the persuading hand right now.

Which I should be hopefully managing to take care of and not get deterred once more over since I've seen more than enough evidence as to their collective danger.

Essentially, if you have not heard, it's been discovered that those Number cards for that tournament that has been going on are actually capable of manipulating and possessing others. I know a few people have been affected by them, including Setsuo, and this young woman who challenged me who seemed to be under the delusion that she was a pirate-- and was subsequently distressed as to where she was afterwards.

It seems as though winning against them breaks the hold the cards have upon them, and I have avoided using them at all in order to not become possessed, myself.

Shiroko's gone through a rather dramatic personality change over the past few weeks, starting around when she had received two of her Number cards-- who seem to be puppet themed. She's become much more... Sexually focused, as well as materialistic to the point of disregarding others. I feel that at the rate she is going, I fear that she'll decide that we would be worth more in exchange for more fame if she gives up on us. Her actions have been disturbing those around her, including Suzume, Shiyoko, and Miss Kurochi.

I have found that talking to her does not work. She takes on a circular logic concerning the cards, and will generally ignore you when you try to speak to her if it's about something she does not like. And disregards the point that it isn't good if she's being manipulated, regardless of the result.

Of course, it goes without saying, but Noriko is fond of how she's turned out, which should, more or less, say enough. However, I will state ahead of time that Noriko is not the cause of it, as she has been in a state of distress and forced insomnia due to her debt.

Wonderful. Guess I'm a little late coming out of the woodwork to help get things on track. No worries, though. I'm sure things will get under control soon enough.

Honestly, the best solution so far just seems to be dueling them.

It rather seems to snap people out of it when you win against them. So any bit helps on that.

Dueling returns people to normal, got it. I'll keep that in mind while I'm busy making sure people realize exactly what they're dealing with.
