What happened with the crazy leader chick?

I talked to her, and she gave me a decent lead, but she's... well. You saw her. She's kind of harmless now. If she sees Dark Mist again, she'll let me know.

It was pretty clearly obvious she was only really guilty of being manipulated in a larger scheme. Like I said, she was as much a victim as the people she was brainwashing.

... And yet I still feel like I should whack you in the back of the head.

Regulation 27, Subsection 3, Relating Towards Malevolent Individuals Confirmed To Have Suffered From Mental Manipulation And Alteration: "...should the suspect be confirmed to have suffered from a form of mental alternation, such as personality exaggerations in the form of holding a Number XYZ, brainwashing, or mental manipulation of the facts, the suspect is to be held for immediate interrogation to obtain any leads on the entity or entities behind said manipulation, and then be evaluated on their threat level. If they appear to no longer be a threat after the effects of said manipulation have worn off, they are to be released, pending further investigation."

...Basically, if she wasn't a threat without the brainwashing (which she wasn't), and could give leads on who did it (which she did), then we're not locking her up right away.

What about the "no longer be a threat part".

I mean, yeah, right now, she probably wasn't gonna be a threat, but you don't know how she'd act without being affected by a Dark Game.

You're pretty much assuming that she's not gonna be a threat when she's already been manipulated in the first place, if it hasn't worn off.

There's a reason "pending further investigation" is in there. We keep tabs to make sure they're not immediately up to something the minute things go back to normal.

I sincerely doubt Noriko would hire someone like that if they were that off the wall normally.

I want you to think a little bit carefully about that last bit.

She wouldn't hire someone who A) was so insane she had never seen her employer before, B) would start a full on cult in her name normally and C) Do so while being employed as a regional manager.

... Think a little harder.

I trust Noriko to not hire someone that plainly crazy. She doesn't like super crazies.

You do realize that Noriko is just as prone at being tricked, or knowingly doing something in the spur of the moment out of amusement, and then forgetting she did it a week later. Right?
