I think I just became Earth's ambassador to an inter-dimensional incident.

... What happened.

Uh, well.

Moeko hopped a warp portal to try and flee to some sunny tax-free haven where she could avoid persecution. I followed her in, we dueled. She went crazy and powered up from Number 96, I beat her and accidentally destablized the warp and we landed on Hyperborea, where I talked with Mobius and got information on Number 96 and informed him of what was going on.

That's the short version.

It's a remarkably sound plan.

And yes, we dueled in a warp in freefall. With an artificial Dark Game. It was uh... a thing that happened.

A little too cold for my tastes, but Mobius was friendly enough and answered all my questions. He says we have a couple of months to clean up the situation before he'll have to drag Judgeman and the Courts in.

I'd bet my bottom Yen that Number 96 has been agitating her fury over her not being the "real" Noriko. So I'd be careful. You should probably actually try to talk to her a bit about that. She's... remarkably lonely.

Also, for your information, those courts are basically "We're all in trouble" level things that got set up for obvious reasons. They have no jurisdiction over individual parts of the 12 Dimensions.

Yeah, assuming we can get something from Moeko, I'm thinking we can crack the case wide open finally. I've got a long list of information I got from Mobius that should help us pin down anyone else who might be involved.

Dark Mist is still bound, meaning it needs Duel Spirits or mobile bodies as conduits for its power. It's arrogant and prideful with a sense of honor, confident in its own abilities, and tends to target ideally beautiful people of either gender - though predominantly female - who have little or no connections to other people, emotionally or romantically. It also learns from its mistakes, so we can probably only exploit any potential weaknesses once.
