...So, apparently, instead of suing me for the RIDE System prototypes, Toei has decided to look at my life and go 'hey, that would make a neat series'.

I'm not sure whether to be flattered or embarrassed.

Okay, so, I made those RIDE Systems for SpecInv work, right? Which is like, a belt and a corresponding brace. So that normal people don't get clubbed around while fighting supernatural threats.

The protag of the new series is a demotivated police officer who gets shifted to the Tokyo Metro Special Unit, known as the Occult Club, and then has to track down net viruses that cause weird incidents and respond to human emotions and manifest in the real world using a highly advanced belt + brace system.

Then again, people stealing stuff off of us isn't that weird. Kaiba Corp rushed to make D-Wheels off of my sister's unfinished designs.

Then again, it's been a while since I've had the occasion to break out my D-Wheel in general.

I rarely use mine. I can fly around on broomstick esque objects.

I can practically run to most places I need to get to on foot. I think the last time I broke it out was.... when Jinn, Shian and I had to take down Atlandis? That was way out of town, though.
