This is your friendly reminder that harmful supernatural activity has been on the rise as of late. Special Investigations is doing all it can to track down the source of these issues and resolve them. If you see anything amiss, do not hesitate to contact me, Niyo, or, in an emergency, flag down a Twelve Peers Supernatural Patrol Unit. They're there to let us know when shit goes down. Thank you.

Adam and I are back from our chat with Mobius. The short version is that Mobius is willing to back us in a "Vote of No Confidence" that'll stop Judgeman in his tracks if we can find hard evidence of Judgeman's shady behavior, but the Numeral Hunter's 'existence' here isn't that. But he's definitely hiding something. Something that, if Mobius' clues are anything to go off of, connected to the Number Hunter.
There's been two squads. There's the current Number Hunter that's here on Earth, and an 'original' squad that apparently ended very, very badly. I don't know the details.
...There's also a noun he mentioned. Ettosyleit. It's not any language I recognize. Maybe someone else will? It seems like something that connects to all of this, it's the only hint Mobius could give us.
Also, there's a possibility that 'Amy', aka the Bujinki Amaterasu currently residing at the hotel, is involved. He referenced the Amenonuhoko and Takama-Ga-Hara, and the fact that Amaterasu's existence is 'myth', which is shorthand for "we've tried to bury it". As far as why... I don't know.
Additionally, there is a chance that Dark Mist isn't dead, but as to why, we aren't... entirely sure. Though its connection to Yuma's number seems all the more pronounced, now.
And we still don't exactly know how the Rank-Up-Magics fit in all of this, either.
We've got some leads to go on... but we've got more questions than answers, too.

Why?
Re: [Private Message]
Re: [Private Message]
...Look, given the scene that's been caused, I can't exactly pull back the patrols. It'd be a PR nightmare. Even if, for example, I wanted to heed your words, I'd probably be saying "I'm a big incompetent loser, please fire me and all my subordinates!"
Re: [Private Message]
...
And?
Re: [Private Message]
The point is, I've got a lot of personal tech invested in SpecInv. If I make a slip up big enough that the brass figures it's etter kicking us out and working with the tech themselves, then they're going to have all that experimental shit they won't have a clue how to work with and very little restraint to use it.
Re: [Private Message]
I'm admitting you were right - there's another Number Hunter. See? I can admit when I'm wrong. And now I want you to meet me halfway and admit that he's way stronger than any of you and not go after him, because you'll wind up a stain on the ground.
Re: [Private Message]
Look, I can't stop everyone from rushing ahead, but I can at least make sure people in the know know how tough he is, and maybe offer some logistics support for you. I can't pull out of this case, but if you've got an actual plan, then maybe we can compare notes and outsmart him.
Re: [Private Message]
That's a good one, Mr. Sent His Amazon Buddy To Try And Arrest Me.

You're coming to me and I appreciate that, which is why I'm trying to give you some slack here and say that I might be able to shift some resources around and help.
Re: [Private Message]
1) My point is, I have no reason to trust you.
2) Even if I did, I don't need your help anyway.
I said what I wanted to say. I'm done here. See ya, Onni.
Re: [Private Message]
God fucking dammit, Alex.
Re: [Private Message]
Re: [Private Message]
Okay, awesome, glad that that is made perfectly cleawhat the fuck are you even trying to do then
Re: [Private Message]
Re: [Private Message]
You need me to prove you can trust me? Fine. Name it. But I can be as stubborn as you.
Re: [Private Message]
Re: [Private Message]
You know what? Fine. You want to do this on your terms? Go for it.
But next time we see each other, face to face? I'm getting answers out of you. I'm sick of this sort of shit. This is the kind of shit I'm supposed to preent, and you're just coming in here like you know the score and don't have to worry about anything but your own damn self, at this point.
Do what you want, but know that you're gonna have to pay it back someday.
You get your fucking little zone of non-interference, but if I have to bail you out I'm smacking you upside your head for being so goddamn selfish and stupid.
