May. 3rd, 2014 01:00 pmToday, I am pleased to announce a much-needed expansion to the Domino Police Special Investigations project.
Several months prior to the WRGP fiasco, there were a series of incidents involving mysterious figures on D-Wheels attacking people. As many might be aware, the assailant was eventually caught, only to be revealed to be a hijacked prototype of a police-force prototype, the "Riding Roid".
Today, the Special Investigations Department is pleased to announce that we have worked with the main Domino Police branch to acquire the remains of the prototype and the project specs. We have given it a complete overhaul to bring you our latest assistant in hunting down special cases.
I bring you the first batch of the Twelve Peers Law Enforcement Android Series.
[There's a picture here, of what looks like a humanoid machine, with a reinforced police outfit with what looks like layered metal plating on the shoulders, forearms, chest, and legs.]
In themselves new prototypes based off the Riding Roid, these new models are made to be able to quickly identify supernatural threats and defend the common public against them. Their primary duty is to allow us to respond to threats far faster than we ever could on our own, but they also have the ability to pursue fleeing suspects, duel, and make arrests in the absence of any other Special Investigations officers.
Our prototypes for this series will be hitting the streets over the weekend, and we will be rolling out more models to allow for an better coverage of the Domino area over the course of this year.
...And now that the formalities are out of the way, sorry I've been so quiet, everyone. Life catches up with you, after a while.
