Dream Event
Dec. 8th, 2008 01:29 pm*As you're wandering the dreams. You may come across a strange one. It seems to be a fork in dirt road, on a grassy plain. The road forks off. In one direction: The bustling castle town, large, sprawling, and full of people, being a guardian there would be difficult, nigh impossible. A job best left to the manipulating sorcerers and monstrosities within the castle, forever twisting the commoner to their desire.
But then again, would it not be worth it too protect the commoner from those monstrities in the castle? Those manipulating, sorcerous forces who simply wish to 'fix' what they see as 'broken' or 'wrong'?
The other path leads to a fammiliar village.. Excluded from the world, with the close friends that one knows. Friends that he wants to protect. To keep safe. Some friends have moved to the castle and the town nearby, and the sorcerous forces have begun to work their magic. Being the guardian here would be simple. Defending the village from monsters and bandit a daily, but nontheless simple task. And yet, things weren't black and white.
Some friends enjoyed being manipulated.
Not all manipulators were sorcerers.
Not all sorcerers were manipulators.
Could he not have both?
And so, as you're wandering among the dreams, you stumble upon a young man clad in grey armor, a styled falchon in one hand behind his head, across his shoulders, looking at the two paths, deciding which way to go.
And yet wanting to take both paths, as well.*
