Sorry for the radio silence, everyone. I've been trying to compile this into a form that everyone should find easily digestible, as I've been talking with Agent Kaito and we have tried to put together the clues we have now. We have some missing pieces of the puzzle, still, but we've got some pretty educated guesses about everything, now. It should be noted, as Agent Kaito has been so keen to reiterate several times, simply knowing any of this information is likely considered criminal in the eyes of the Greater 12 Dimensions, due to the breach in security and classified information. Me? I don't give a damn at this point.
Let's see if I can keep this... more or less succinct.
On the Relationship Between the Barians and the Astrals
Now, bear in mind, this is mostly what I can guess at from what I know here. Aegis, Achilles, if you two want to correct any details here that you recall as being different, please feel free to jump on here.
We've never seen the Astrals, near as my records are sure of, but as many might be aware of, we're now cooperating with the Barians as best as we can. However, there's a clear relationship between the two, and incident in the Antarctic, as well as the source that confirmed the details of Number 6, implied that they may have once been one in the same. To that end, I believe the best guess is that a schism happened when the ones we know as 'Astrals' wanted to ascend to a higher, more advanced evolutionary state through 'Ranking Up'. They likely acquired this from Cosmo Queen, considered the progenitor of the dangerous 'Rank-Up-Magic', though that's almost impossible to confirm at this time. It's believed that they desired to use Ettosyleit - The Warp, as it's known in our tongue, and harness the chaotic energies omnipresent there to advance their desires to Rank Up.
The Barians, meanwhile, seem to be the ones who dissented from this idea of using Rank Up, and the Astralss eventually came to resent and hate them, considering them much more beneath them for this. Tensions escalate, and that's how we get here - all the fighting for their lives has practically destroyed the Barians' world. This brings me to my next point...
The 'Chronomaly' Number Series and the Ame-No-Nuhoko
A little while back, myself, Juudai, and Agent Kaito met to discuss the release of several of the Captured Numbers who's records were clearly more dangerous (Number 10: Illumiknight, Number 11: Big Eye) or whose status was that of a superweapon (Number 9: Dyson Sphere). Of these, we handed over a series of nested machines that culminated in Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis, as their records were supiciously classified, similar to Dark Mist, Hope, Galaxy-Eyes Prime, etc etc.
After some examination and research by Agent Kaito, we've learned that the Chronomaly series is Astral-related, a machine that has the ability to open wormholes to different points in time and space. It's suspected that the reason the Astral and possibly Barian worls are in the Warp now is because of the power of Number 6. Unfortunately, it seems operating Atlandis is something neither of us knows how to quite accomplish, just yet. Which brings me to the Ame-No-Nuhoko.
Created by the Bujins before their still-unclear demise, the Ame-No-Nuhoko was able to- with some testing, transport myself and Adam Van Der Aart into the Warp. While I would -not- repeat this experiment, I would say that it seems likely that it could repeat this feat the other way, being able to move things from the Warp to regular space. We're still figuring out exactly how it connects to everything - there's a chance that it could work in concert with Atlandis, if we could get the two to communicate. I believe this is the best chance we have of saving the Barians' world, though the spear itself appears to be missing something, and I'm still not sure what. Van Der Aart, if you and Power Tool could look at the spear further whenever you get a moment, I'd appreciate it greatly. As I've been told if anyone could figure out the details, it'd be them.
On the Numbers, Legendary Numbers, and Judgeman
Alright, here's where things start to get a bit more... strange. As was seen in the Antarctic, the Legendary Numbers may or may not be more than just what they appear to be - they might also be archives of data - encrypted data, but data nonetheless. This brings me to a point that... may or may not be something many of the Numbers want to deal with -
They're just as much data as the Legendary Numbers. Maybe not full archives, but. Agent Kaito and I both believe that the system may have been using its inmates as effective hidden data storage. We aren't entirely sure this is the case, but we have some supporting ideas. Agent Kaito's assistant and fellow operative, Orbital 7, is willing to attempt to examine the Numbers we've already relinquished to him to order to see if there's a string of connected data.
...Exactly what connects the Numbers and Legendary Numbers to the 'Over-Hundred Numbers' remains unknown. We suspect whatever data may be on the Numbers may help us, but we lack a decryption key. We suspect that Number 66: Master Key Beetle may, appropriately enough, have the key to the data, but we don't know who has it, currently, as last I had seen, it had vanished from my brother-in-law Jouji's possession after a No Contest.
This may also explain further actions by Judgeman, who's been encouraging Kaito to take the Numbers in as great a number as possible and with an undue amount of force - culminating in attacking Juudai. Naturally, the Agent has refused to comply, and feels that Judgeman is attempting to get him out of the way for knowing too much, so to speak. I think it's enough to still claim that the Judge is, either wittingly or unwittingly working for the Astrals in some fashion, but we still have no 'smoking gun' that proves his corrupt nature to a 12 Dimensions Court, as decisive evidence is required.
...So, that's where we stand right now, some loose ends-
Wakahisa, Moeko: Currently being held captive by the 12 Dimensions, for collaborating with Number 96: Dark Mist. Currently, Agent Kaito's unable to get confirmation on her whereabouts, which to me is a huge red flag.
Number 96: Dark Mist: Is currently still on the run, having last been seen hurtling through the Warp, possessing the body of Bujinki Amaterasu. It should be remembered that the Rogue Barian known as Caduceus has claimed to be the creator of Dark Mist - likely using the Demons, given that Dark Mist seems more like a Demon than either an Astral or Barian. Dark Mist had mentioned wanting to meet their creator at last encounter, so I'd be on alert, here.
The Demons of the Warp: Currently fighting each other due to the power vaccuum left by the heads coming here and getting themselves destroyed, and fighting over the corpse of 'Anti-Hope', the monster that was drive back by myself, Yuma, Alexandra, and Labrys. They seem to be more or less leaving us alone, but any demon that gets a hold of even the smallest fragments of Anti-Hope could become that much more dangerous.
With this, I think the picture becomes much clearer, but I admit there are gaps even for my knowledge here, but that said... that doesn't, necessarily that we should be hasty with this knowledge - if Judgeman -is- trying to get the data back by any means possible, then if he knew that we'd known so much already, he'd likely be Ice-9ing the planet already.
Hopefully, this allows us to come together as a group to draw connections, as well. But, uh, I'm gonna be honest. I've downed like, three cups of Machine World Blend Coffee while I've been working on this, so please feel free to talk about it among yourselves while I go dunk my head in an ice-cold vat of water before I come back to look at this or I'm gonna end up vibrating myself through the floor.
